Why We Built This Site
McCulloch County does not publish one official sheriff search that covers every court warrant. The public route depends on the case. Brady Municipal Court keeps city citation matters, the countywide Justice Court handles its own traffic and Class C cases, and the District Clerk routes district-court records. The Sheriff handles county law-enforcement contact and custody, but its public page is not a warrant roster.
That split can make an ordinary records question hard to route. This private reference gathers the local contact paths, explains what each office can answer, and points readers to the official page or form that fits. It does not combine government databases or determine a person's legal status.
What You Will Find Here
The county pages focus on checking a record through the office that maintains it and understanding what to ask next. They include:
- Search routes: how to use the McCulloch County warrant search contacts, including the limits of Brady's citation portal
- Current-list limits: what is known about active warrants when the Sheriff does not post a county roster
- Court dates: how a missed appearance can lead to a bench or FTA warrant
- Arrest process: the court and officer roles described on the arrest warrant page
- Local city routes: separate information for Brady and Melvin, based on the public city sources located
What We Cannot Do
This is an independent reference, not a court, law-enforcement office, or public records desk. We cannot:
- Run an official status check or certify that no warrant exists
- Recall, quash, serve, or remove an order from a government system
- Take a payment, post a bond, arrange a surrender, or set a hearing
- Tell someone how a charge, warrant, or bond applies to a specific case
- Promise that every public fee, phone number, office hour, or process is unchanged
Only the issuing court can explain its recall decision. The Sheriff can answer county service or custody questions. Confirm the record with the official office before relying on it.
Search Partners
Some pages show search boxes operated by outside providers. Those companies control their own services, fees, and data practices. A referral may earn revenue if a visitor chooses a paid service. The search box is sponsored and is not a McCulloch County warrant check. The official court, clerk, or Sheriff remains the source for a local record.
